Poetry by Laura Kauffman and watercolor painting by Emily McQueen.

Poem:  "Pentecost," from What Remains

I fear nothing

so much

as soulless words

I crave nothing

so much

as to speak in tongues

to feel the fire of God

a whirlwind of wonder and

to bind mouth to hand

in surrender

and breathe the heat

of God
